Mindful photography Photography with a philosophical twist. See the image before you capture it
The photographs on this website are a result of looking at the world. Aware of the fact that everything changes, nothing stays the same. The beauty is there, different every time, you just have to see it .Sometimes you have to stop running and look . Aware of what you see.
Photography is not just about taking pictures. It’s about trying to capture what you perceive.
Pantawei is the composition of two philosophical approaches.Panta rhei and Wu Wei
panta rhei – πάντα ῥεῖ – a concept in the philosophy of Heraclitus.
- “everything flows”
- “All entities move and nothing remains still”
- “Everything changes and nothing remains still … and … you cannot step twice into the same stream”
Wu wei – a tenet of Taoism
- The literal meaning of wu wei is “without action”, “without effort”, or “without control”
- In the original Taoist texts, wu wei is often associated with water and its yielding nature. In illustration, it can assume any form or shape it inhabits.
